Kazunori Ishide
Hometown: Nagoya City, Aichi Prefecture.
Ishide started dance at age 18, and soon made his way to New York City seeking inspiration along with other dancers from around the world. While in the United States, he performed at a variety of contests and shows, including at the legendary Apollo Theater Amateur Night in 2008.
Specializing in house, hip-hop, and club dance, Ishide also incorporates his experience in tap, salsa, capoeira, and a myriad of dynamic dance styles. With his extremely acute auditory sense he takes on a crucial position in the group performance “METROPOLIS,” setting the tone of the work.
Ishide also regularly works as a support dancer for other Japanese artists on tour, and also assists international artists with tour production for arena shows.
